Subject: 🚀 Suggestions for Enhancing Zoho Invoice, Tax Filing & Cloud Document Sharing

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to share my thoughts on Zoho Invoice, tax filing capabilities, and cloud document sharing. While Zoho’s ecosystem is already robust, a few enhancements could significantly improve its usability and adoption.

📝 Zoho Invoice: Customer Portal Enhancements

1️⃣ Customer Portal Homepage Experience
📌 The current home screen displays payment statistics and balance due, but customers primarily look for invoices and pending invoices first. Right now, they must navigate through the hamburger menu, select “Invoices,” and swipe left to find “All Invoices.”

✅ A better approach would be dashboard-style boxes on the homepage, displaying key sections (Invoices, Payments, Statements, etc.) upfront. This would provide a clearer, more intuitive experience, aligning with the core purpose of Zoho Invoice.

2️⃣ Clarity on the Free Plan’s Invoice Limit
🔍 Zoho Invoice is promoted as permanently free, which is great! However, the 500-invoice annual limit is not clearly communicated. Initially, I assumed this was a lifetime limit, leading to hesitation in adopting the platform. Later, through the mobile app, I discovered that the limit renews annually—a crucial detail that could have influenced my decision sooner.

📢 Providing this information upfront (during onboarding or in the pricing section) would help users make informed decisions from the start.

💰 Zoho Tax Suite: Income Tax Filing & GST API Integration

3️⃣ Need for Income Tax Filing in Zoho
📄 I currently rely on Winman for both Income Tax and GST filings. While Zoho offers GST filing, Income Tax filing is missing, which is a much-needed feature for tax practitioners and businesses alike. Adding this feature would make Zoho a one-stop tax compliance solution.

4️⃣ GST Filing Backed by API from GST Portal
🔗 While GST filing is available, I wish it were directly integrated with the GST portal via API. This would improve accuracy, efficiency, and ease of filing, making Zoho’s GST solution more seamless and competitive.

☁️ Advanced Cloud Document Sharing

5️⃣ Scalable File Sharing Solution
📂 A more flexible document-sharing (of all the services I provide to the client) feature would be beneficial, ideally allowing:

• 📎 Integration in the Zoho Invoice customer portal.
• 📤 Client file uploads directly to the cloud, reducing reliance on email or WhatsApp.
• 🗂️ Categorized document storage, enabling the segregation of invoices, contracts, tax filings, and other relevant documents for better organization.
• 🗑️ Controlled file deletions, where clients must provide a reason. AI-driven analysis could assess the legitimacy of deletions, with some critical files being restricted from deletion.
• 🔄 Two-way document exchange, where both the client and service provider can upload, access, and update documents seamlessly within the platform.

These enhancements would greatly improve Zoho’s suite of products and provide users with a more powerful and intuitive experience. I’d love to hear your thoughts on these suggestions and whether any improvements are planned.
